Use Your Outside Voice for Our Lands and Waters and for Our Children's Futures
Every day, policy leaders make decisions that affect the health of our land, the water we drink and the air we breathe. There are important issues at stake at the local, state and national levels.
If you care about Indiana's lands and waters, and want to help us conserve them for future generations, please
Sign the Pledge to use your "outside voice" for nature. You will join a network of people who are taking action for conservation.
We'll keep you informed of new policy developments and provide opportunities to
let our representatives know you want them to support the special places and resources we all rely upon here in Indiana.
It is a great way for all of us to work together to protect the places we need and love, locally and across the United States.
Speak up for the:
Wildfire Disaster Funding Act - The Wildfire Disaster Funding Act would fund emergency wildfires like other emergencies, ensuring that forest and conservation programs are not raided when suppression funds are depleted. This would bring up-front funding certainty for fire fighters and stability for forest health activities.
Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) - The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) protects land and water for nature and people in every state. Here in Indiana, it has helped protect the Hoosier National Forest, Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and more.
Read how LWCF balances the loss of a natural resource – offshore oil and gas – by using a portion of drilling fees to protect important land and water resources.
I know that investing in conservation is the only way we can help keep America beautiful, strong, prosperous and healthy. I am proud to join a community of people who speak up for nature to help save the places we love.
